Queens Council Orienteering

Going in with 155 pre-registered participants (121 scouts and 34 adults), the Queens Council Orienteering Training Event kicked off on Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Forest Park.

The day started early with on site check in at 8:30 AM behind the Buddy Statue landmark. The training day started at 9:30 AM to allow delayed participants to arrive and complete the registration process. The morning consisted of four half hour training sessions, held in round robin format. The training was geared to the beginners' needs.
