| Day 3 - Travel to New River Gorge, WV We arrive at 2:30 PM after 285 miles. Too late to search and set up the climbing gear but plenty of time for the visitor center and the sights. From the overlook we had a great view of the world's longest single arched bridge as well as the New River. One of the oldest rivers in the world and flowing South to North. Back to the campsite to set up and eat a hearty meal before a full day of rafting. |
