Day 4 - New River Gorge, West Virginia
As soon as we get on the river we get wet, the
guide decides to show us, (in calm water),
what to do should the raft turn upside down.
We were the only raft in our 4 raft party to do
so. I guess it had something to do with the
"we want it all" chant. After a few "warm up"
rapids we stop for the "diving competition"
and then lunch. The "real" fun begins in the
afternoon with class IV and V rapids.
After lunch a little foating and then the ride of our
lives. Only one of us an the guide managed to
stay in the raft throughout the entire trip. The rest
fell out a least once at some point or other
(never on the big rapids) when we least
expected it. Still photos do not do justice for  this
awsome adventure. Come to parent's  night to
see the videos. As you can see, from the bus
ride back, everyone was smiling and wishing for
more.
