| Long Trip, 8/27 - 9/1, 2002 |
| After the caving, we shower, have lunch and proceed to hit the road around 1445. We stop for the night at a campground just outside Carlisle. Sunday 9/1/02, Late start, we take the time to dry the tents since it was our last night of camping. We head out at 1235 for home, via Philadelphia to drop one of the scouts off. We arrive in Elmhurst at 1900. Two adults and seven scouts participated on this six day, 918 mile excursion. Lookout 2003! The Scouts are talking southeastern U.S (Florida) If you want to join them, you need to advance. Plan now, so you qualify by the summer of 2003. |
